Hi, I’m Kathleen. I live in New jersey and teach fourth grade. I came here looking for people with information/experiences with Grave’s Disease/hypothyroidism. I was diagnosed with this affliction about nine months ago after six months of treatment for a sinus infection. I feel rather frustrated with the course of treatment I have been on as my eyes continue to protrude and other, more subtle symptoms persist. I know this sounds whiny, but when I look in the mirror, I don’t see myself. If you have any suggestions as to where to find help/information on reducing the protrusion of my eyes, please respond.
