Hi Lori:
I had a very high uncontrollable heart rate when I went hyper and I had been having palpitations but I didn’t know what was going on. I was having the palpitations for about 2 years that I can recall. Since I had my thyroid removed and went on the Synthroid I have not had any more problems. Take care.

Hi….I was diagnosed with MVP – mitrial valve prolapse several years before Graves onset. Strange heart flipping feeling is unnerving, I’m not on meds for it but do take antibodies before dental work. On scale of 1-5 my MVP is 1 1/2.

Hi, does anyone else suffer from heart problems such as Atrial Fibrillation or heart fluttering, tachycardia, etc since being diagnosed with Graves and since being put on TRH? I never had a heart problem once and now that I was put on TRH back in April last year, my heart has been screwing up…I am now on Cardizem CD to control the flipping my heart does but it doesn’t matter whether my endo ups or lowers my meds, it seems to bother it…..he thinks i must’ve been predisposed to getting this that when i ended up with Graves, Graves must’ve triggered it….but i’m not sure….i would love to hear anyone elses story if there are any of you out there…..
