Hi Colleen,

I was put on a Holter Monitor on the day I was diagnosed with Graves because of some abnormalities in my EKG and a very rapid resting heart rate. It showed 5,000 PVC’s (premature ventricular contractions) in 24 hours. Although the doctor described these as “extra” beats, to me they felt more like “skipped” beats. I too was put on Inderal until after my second RAI.

I had no “flutterings” while I was hypo, but have them occasionally now since my levels have been normal. I mentioned them to the endo when I went last and he replied that my levels were normal and said to check back with my family physician. I go back to him on Monday and plan to ask about it.
