    Joan,

    I’ve experienced hearing loss, but I’m not sure it’s permanent — seems to be intermittant.

    Just before being diagnosed with Graves’ I had to quit acting as camera person in video production because I couldn’t always hear the director through the headphones. I kept blaming it on the headphones and thought someone was trying to play a joke on me.
