      Hello everyone,
I haven’t been posting to the BB lately but I try to read as many of the postings as I can. I finally got off my butt and demanded that my doctor refer me to an endo and GUESS WHAT??? All of the doctors here in Ontario are in a job action against the government and they are not taking new patients. They are only treating emergencies. I was told I won’t be able to get an appointment until this has been setteled. I asked my doctor what my last levels were. He said I am 1.3 on a scale that goes from .5 to 5. I had a visit from my sister who thinks my eyes are way more poppy than they were when she last saw me in May of this year. I am getting fatter and am so fed up! To top it all of one of my cats “Cookie” got an abcess on his face and he is in the pet hospital having surgury that will cost over $300. The vet found flea dirt on him so I had to have both my cats deflead and I am in the middle of spraying the whole house and washing all the bed clothes because they do get on the beds. My 12 year old son informed me that about 20 of the kids in one of the classes at his school were sent home Friday because they had head lice. So far no one in his class has been sent home but if he gets lousey I just don’t know if I can handle it. This week is UGLY! I hate knowing that my eyes look worse than they did I thought they were the same. I left a message at the Canadian Thyroid Foundation for a volunteer to call me. Maybe they can suggest something I can do until I can see a specialist.
Sorry to go on like this but I thought it would make me feel better.

Man, the bad day thing is catching. Lousy here also today. Is it a moon phase or something?

It must be catching. This has been a really bad day (and so was
yesterday). The moon better turn soon.

Rosemary – go to see an opthamologist. Your eyes are too important
to wait until things get out of hand. Mine is following me so he can
have a relatively good baseline and be on top of things if they start
to get really bad. Best of luck to you!
