Hello Everyone,It was nice to read all of the notes on the forum re: Graves Disease. Iwas diagnosed with it 3 years ago and had been in remission for 2 yrsafter being treated with Tapozola, but it is back. I will be having aradioactive iodine uptake and scan on Thursday, 10/17 and since that time I have been hearing stories of hair loss and green hair in additionto hyperactivity and a sore throat. My left eye is starting to bulgeand I am having some blurring. My other symptons seem to be classic andrelatively the same as 3 years ago. I haven’t been able to wear my contacts for a few months. Can anyone elaborate on any of this?Thanks.Ann

Hi Ann, You sound just like me. Just found out it’s back, and don’t
know what to do. Also, had it 3 yrs. ago, did PTU for a year and was
fine. Just went for general check-up and they said it’s back but I
really have none of the symptoms like last time and in fact feel fine
except some blurring of vision in my left eye also! Am supposed to go
for uptake test, but am stalling at doing anything because I feel good
and guess I’m a little scared. Did make an appt. for eye-doctor –
2 weeks wait. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, PS Sure haven’t
lost any weight and heart rate ok this time.
