    When first diagnosed w. GD I found some women had a sydrom called “post-partum thyroiditis.” Basically it was an overactive thyroid condition that showed up for a few months after giving birth. I’m not a doctor, but I wonder if your RIA was at a dose not strong enough to kill yout thyroid totally — and now you have some similar symptoms, or a reccurrance of GD.
    Your treatment choices will obviously be based partially on whether you’re nursing or not. I took an ATD and nursed, and can tell you about my own experience if you want to email me. My endo basically just tried to keep my levels at the high end of normal, to minimize my baby’s exposure — perhaps this may be what your endo will do.
    Congrats on the baby. I know having GD can present an extra challenge to having a newborn. I’m pulling for you
