Welcome to the Graves’ bulletin board! I was diagnosed with Graves’
Ophthalmopathy in 1990. I prefer to call myself a warrior, instead of

I also have had Graves for 10 years. I have just in last couple
months been diagnosed with the Graves Eye. You can e-mail me at

Would be interested in chatting with you. Was diagnosed with Graves and treated last week. Believe I have the eye disease and want to know about symptoms. I have the following: plugs in eyes for dryness (two years ago and they’re still dry); persistent eye infections/irritation; lately the left eye has been tearing a lot; mega headaches that i think are associated with actually looking around/daily use of my eyeballs!; some of the stare qualities – little blinking at times only; sister claims my eyes bulgy (before diagnosis of Graves) and one aunt commented on it, otherwise no one has noticed. Can you have that muscle irritation without much bulging?
