I just found this site, I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism caused by graves disease in August 96. I have a wonderful doctor, I wish everyone could be treated by her!! My concern is the iodine treatment. I think my treatment will happen in June97. I’m a little nervous because of my two year old son. Somebody please tell me what they did with their children after the treatment was administered? Dad is around but how did you steer clear of other family members? The treatment has to happen because I need to get of PTU,I hate the taste it leaves in my mouth
it makes food and beverages taste horrible!!!
