Thanks for sharing the GOOD NEWS, Joyce! It’s the best news I’ve heard,
or rather read, all day! :) Best wishes to both Tami and baby for a
healthy pregnancy for the remainder of her term. When’s the due date
    again? Keep us posted!

Wishing you health and happiness, Debby

Due date is Sept 28th, seems a long way off, but with the major worries off her sholders it won’t drag by so slowly now. She will still be on limited activity but not bed rest, and be monitored weekly for contractions, but she hasn’t had any serious ones for a week and with the traffic driving back from LA today, if she didn’t have any then she should be OK ;-D . Thanks to all once again and have a good night.

Thank you Warriors for your support and prayers for Tami and baby over the last few months. We just got back from the Drs. and it is all good news.:-) First of all Tami is now euthyroid and not on any meds! PTL! She still has to take it easy and watch out for pre-term labor, and of course her symptoms could return but we hope not. Her nodule has not changed and the endo doesn’t want to do anything with it at this time (if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it) but of course after the baby is born she will have to have it examined further. The baby is growing just fine and the best news is that his goiter has shrunken to the point that it doesn’t pose a threat to him being able to breathe on his own when he is born, and HE IS FINALLY ABLE TO SWALLOW. It was so good to see the ultrasound and see him swallowing and his little stomache filled with fluid. Also his arteries in his neck have full flow to his brain. The perinatologist spent 1 1/2 hours doing the ultrasound examining him, her only concern was that he is 4/12 pounds already (should be 3 1/2 ) but when she heard that big babbies run in the family (Tami weighed 10 lbs 12oz!!!) she felt a lot better about him being so big. However Tami doesn’t want to think about delivering a 10 pounder as she is only 5’4″ and a size 5 usually ;-O.
Tami says thanks to all for letting her vent on this board, after all that is what it is for, to be able to let off steam to people that know what you are feeling, and if that means sometimes “whinning” then what better place (yes, she did read the “posts from the troll”)
Thanks again to all who have e-mailed and prayed. YOU ARE ALL GREAT, AND WE LOVE YA. Joyce aka Tami’s mom
