    Thanks Liz and all for the good wishes. Will be leaving in a little while to head down to Palm Springs for the surgery. The doctor checked my eyes again yesterday and they are very stable so the prognosis is excellent.

    Would sure love to have a cup of coffee or even a drink of water right now, but they said no intake this morning. What a bummer!
