    My thyroid was small last year before and after treatment. It shrank a little after treatment. Can you get one after RAI??? How long does it take to grow and is it sore??? I thought the thyroid was hard to find. I couldn’t find it before but I can now.. Maybe I am paranoid. Maybe it’s just allergies… What can be done if it gets big?

    I just got back some bloodwork results. All the thyroid related tests are within the normal range but my platelets are only 79 (normal range 145-450). They have been low on the last two blood tests ( I don’t know how low, though), taken about 2 and 3 months ago. My endo is refering me to a hematologist now. I was wondering if anybody has had any experience and/or has read anything related to this. Any information would be greatly apprecited. Thanks.
