My OSU endo said that there is something about the country – not the medication in Japan. Immigrant Japanese in America don’t have the same remission rate as the people in their native environment. When I asked if I should be following that type of diet, he said diet was not related to the disease, according to research. He said they don’t know why it is. I hear the stress levels in Japan are much greater than here, so I guess I won’t move there to condict my own study.
