I don’t know what you would do on a Mac, because I have DOS/Windows. But if you’ve already downloaded the mIRC necessary to get to the chat, all you need to do is sign onto AOL, then minimize it to keep it running but without it filling up the screen; then activate the mIRC program icon. I had one problem — the port the program initially loaded did not work, so I had to redo it with the second number that they gave me in the initial instructions.
