Thanks for the info. I am asking alot of questions, researching on the internet and searching for the thyroid books. The thought of the TED getting worse after the RAI really frightens me. I was actually ready to get RAI in February because I was fed up with the constant “X-files” in my head but it was my doctor that wanted to wait. I didn’t realize at the time the side effects of RAI. This is my 3rd doctor and seems to be ok. Just had an encounter with his assistant doctor about my levels (I want to increase dosage) will wait for blood tests next week.

Also, I apologize to everyone about the sarcastic remark I made about the doctors making money on RAI. I was feeling alone and very emotional. Thanks for your responses. Mona
