    Hi elaine, I see you have an email of gemstate.net. Are you from Idaho too? I’m way up here in the north.

    As for cravings, I do remember when I was in full blown Graves, I seriously craved fat, preferably the fat of steaks and roasts. I also had a serious craving for chicken skin and the rind off of ham. All of it cooked to crispy and heavily seasoned with seasoned salt. Since going into remission, I haven’t had these cravings. I think in my case it was due to the fact my cholestrol had plunged from 165 to 112. It is now back up to 165-180.

    I’m glad you mentioned the sweet craving – I thought it might be pms, but it’s all the time. I thought maybe I needed the sugar to help me keep up with the energy being burned…….?
