I’m sorry you are feeling so bad. First of all you need to think of your recovery in baby steps. With the condition that you have been in going to a gym to work out, is jumping right in the middle. Instead try walking for say 15 minutes. The slowly work up to work for longer when you feel you can do it. Then try walking with small weights in your hands. Then slowly work your way up to working out at the gym.
Another thing how long have your results been in the normal level? When we hit a normal, we might just not be feeling out best. Keep in mind that you slowly developed your symptoms, even though it feels to you like it came out quickly. So you will slowly feel better.

I have been in the “normal” for about 8 months. My doctor has been telling me that I should get into the gym. but as it goes with endo’s, he is hard to get an appointment with, to report how I’m feeling.
My wife and I have been walking. two to three times a week since May. When we do walk,I feel pretty good. But everyone (including myself) expects me to be able to perform as the 30 year old that I am. I just can’t keep up that level of performance; and thus creates the problem of keeping a job.I have been on tapazol for 1 1/2 years now. My endo says that my levels are looking normal, but I still don’t feel like getting out of bed. I am having trouble finding and holding down a job. I am a newly wed (of 1 year) and I feel because my wife is our sole provider.
I have tried to go to the gym and build up my strength, but it only seems to be worse when I get home, all I want to do is sleep.
Does any one have any suggestions for me….PLEASE!?~Thom
We always expect more of ourselves then we are able to achieve. That can be a excellant choice to improve ourselves. BUT, right now you are sick and you need time to get well again. When your doctor tells you that need to go to the gym, ask him what does he want you to do there. What you are doing at the gym might just be alittle to hard for you to do right now. In a short while, when you work up to get, you will do find.
I understand what you are saying about your job, because this is something that I have to do each day. Plus, my age works against me also. Yes, we all right to do our best at all times, we just don’t always seem to know what our best is right now. It may not be what you could do a few years ago, or what the other guy is doing. But it is your best, and you can work up to where you want to be. When we think we are not doing the best we can do on our job. Many times we blame ourselves for what has gone wrong, when it was not our fault at all. Try not to be so tough on yourself.
