My thyroid is becoming hyperactive again (right now TSH is low, all other levels in the normal range.) It just occurred to me this morning that I haven’t experienced much morning double vision in the past week or so (didn’t really notice when it started). Also, I don’t feel the same kind of muscle strain when I move my eyes. I went to the endo on Monday, and she noted that one of my eyes has gone down, but just 1 mm, so we attributed it to the normal error range with the equipment. Has anyone else experienced their eyes getting better as their thyroid became more active?

I don’t think whether you are hyper or hypo has much influence on your eyes. My eyes have been messed up for five years and I never was hypo, but taking ATDs and then RAI. They got worse after the RAI as I got even more hyper for another 15 months. The docs have all said the eye part of graves is independent of the thyroid part. My own experiences backs this up.
