    Hi All,

Well, after feeling horrible for the last two weeks, I’m finally
taking some action and decided to dump my endo since he ‘only treats
the thyroid – not aches and pains’. I got news for him – aches, pains,
weight loss, weight gain, etc. are all a part of the Graves’. Since
he won’t treat the whole disease, he’s history.

Saw my GP today and asked if he felt comfortable managing the Graves’.
He said he has lots of GD patients and we’d work through the whole
thing. Only thing he wouldn’t feel comfortable with is ordering RAI
if I have to do that.

So, today I’m not taking any PTU for 5 days. GP wants to see if some
of this stuff is a reaction to it or not. Since my levels are down
pretty well, I’m only taking 1 pill every other day, and he’ll monitor
me, I decided this was a good idea. We’ll see how it goes.
    Wish me luck:)

PS. Yes, I vote for a week night for the informal chats. I miss them.
    How about Tuesdays?
