    Good Morning Warriors,

I was just wondering if anyone after having any iodine (i.e. shellfish,
fish or any products with iodine in them) if they find their heart and
pulse rate begin to race?? Did we ever figure out for those of us on
synthroid if it is okay to have some salt in our diets? I
do not use salt but there is sodium practically everything we
inhale or ingest with the exception
of some fruits and vegetables. Any input is appreciated.

    Have a nice day!

I’m not on synthroid (taking anti-thyroid meds), but I definitely notice when I eat iodine rich foods. I avoid them now like the plague! I had stayed away from shellfish for months and finally decided to test it out….and got VERY hyper feeling, heart racing, nervousness. I used to love lobster, but it’s just not worth it to me anymore!

You know I don’t think I’m affected by seafood, or at least I’ve
never noticed a difference, I’m up and down so much it’s hard to
tell! The next time I have seafood I’m going to take notice of this
and see if it does affect me.

    Shannon.
