This is the first time I’ve viewed the message board.
In response to the comment about goiter, I want to say that some people who have Graves are “hypo”thyroid, not “hyper.” It’s only about 10% of the Graves patients. My physicians have told me so, and I’ve read it in some medical papers. I’m concerned that this information is not getting out there, and is not mentioned in most articles. I suspect that a lot of doctors don’t even know this. And so if you are hypothyroid you can have Graves and not have a goiter problem.

I was just wondering as this was not
the case for me. Had some symptoms but no
    enlarged goiter.
