I was just curious but has anyone increased their dosage on there own? Like when you were hypo did you ever just move up your amt. of synthroid thinking it would help your hypothyroidism after 6 months or so post RAI?? if so,
how bad can this mess up your graves? And you adjusted it for about 2-3 weeks before having your TSH bloodwork done and following up with the new dose the doctor felt was
    ncessary for you.

Ive changed my Tapazole dosage many times; skipped doctor appointments, etc. I monitor my weight, pulse and sleeping habits very closely. I’ve found I can do this just as well as any doctor. However, after a nearly two years on this drug I’ve found a state of equilibrium at around 7.5 miligrams per day. I can’t do without the Tapazole completely so I’ve decided to go for RAI treatment per my doctor’s advice.
