    Hi all,

I am sure you noticed I have not been on the BB for the past two weeks.
Dad passed away on 13 Mar 97 in the morning. We had to drive 28 hours
in the rain to get home to Rochester for the funeral. We missed the viewing
but the funeral home opened up at 11:30PM to give us smoe time with Dad.
We played the flutes for him and gave him our totems and tokens of respect.
I made him a flute for him to take to the other side with him and a medicne
bag with my momentos. We played Amazing Grace and the grandfather song
    among others.

He had a service in the Lutheran church and Paster Tieman did an outstanding
job. It was nice to see Dad under the Lutheran flag. As I said we were
raised as bot Lutheran and native american. We covered both bases in the
funeral. There was a bagpipper who played amazing grace at the grave site.
Also a 21 gun salute. So If I haven’t answered your mails that is why.

I Thank all of you for the support you have provided to me in the past and
I will be back as on-line facilitator as time permits.

    Love to you all,

    Jake (Achgook)
