Good afternoon warriors, talked to my eye doctor yesterday and it seems like they are going to use the collagen temporary eye plugs first to see if I like them
and move on to the permanent plugs. Did most of the people who had this use the collagen plugs? Any comments or precautions? Do the temporary dissolve within a few weeks? I know I have asked numerous questions but just want to be careful with this set of young blue eyes. Thanks dee.

    Dear Denise,

I know that I have posted this before, but I had the collagen plugs put in after radial keratotomy to correct my nearsighted ness, long before GD entered the picture,. The collagen did disolve in a week, no side effects whatsoever, and have had the silicone plugs in several years now, and am very very pleased withthe results. In my case, I have a big yes to the proceedure. My personal experience leads me to say, “don’t white knuckle this one”: it will be ok. Denise, I really liked your Goldwynisms. I laughed at them a lot. Somedays a good laugh is as good as a hug. K
