For those of you at the conference, Nancy Patterson made a request at
the closing meeting for a Latin translation of three words which I
exemplifies the true basis of the NGDF and my belief that they are also
the cornerstone of this BB and the warriors who post upon it.

Those words were “to educate, to enlighten, to encourage”

Roughly translated they are:

ERUDIO, RELEVO, SUBLEVO (to teach, to lift up, to support)
