One correction to the instructions in the previous message:

Instead of this:

3. Click once on the support-group.com server in your list, then select
the EDIT button (if you don’t have an “EDIT” button, click on
ADD…someone told me their version of mIRC didn’t have an EDIT
button).

It should read like this:

3. Click on the ADD button and add the following info:

Description: support-group.com
IRC server: http://www.support-group.com
Port: 6667 (or 7000 if 6667 doesn’t work for you)
Group: LEAVE THIS BLANK
Password: LEAVE THIS BLANK

Then proceed with step 5 onward.
