I’d say bring your beta blockers with you and enjoy yourself! If you did chance
to get hyper, it’d probably take some time to get into your system anyway…having
beta blockers on hand would take care of the symptoms that rot most.

    have a good time!! Glynis

Yesterday I was psyched about feeling much better and today after reading the iodine, chlorine, etc. posts, I’m bummed. I will be taking a trip to Phoenix April 1 and I fully expected to spend my days by and in the pool. As I live in New York I am seriously ready for this trip. Do I swim or what??? Could one week hurt?? Right now it’s 93 degrees in Pheonix!!!! I’ve never been there and I don’t want to go with a Grave’s cloud hanging over me. Any words of wisdom?? E

    ellis:
chill. Have a good time. That will do you more good than whatever the little chlorine may do. I spent an hour in a heavyily clorinated pool at the gym. I didn’t feel any after effects, so enjoy the fun. Are you on PTU? If not, what are you worrying about anyway? KarenB I am not going to quit living about some chlorine flourine and iodine. But I passed along the info. Everything has a time and place.
