I have been taking Tapazole for three weeks now. I started my dosage on a Friday, and within 24 hours, a dime-sized red spot formed on my left calf. This did not itch nor has caused me any problem. I called my endocrinologist on Sunday. He did not seem concerned. The spot is still there–as I said, it is dime-size and very red, a tiny bit raised, and rough. Today I am having my SECOND fine needle aspiration, due to a mistake by someone (I’m getting different stories, but have chosen to believe my endo who told me that the sample dried out). I have been saving up questions for my endo, and will again mention the red spot. Your thoughts are welcome. Thanks.
