Well, unless my husband’s company makes him an offer he can’t refuse
to get us to move to Ohio, he is taking a different job in Pueblo,CO and
we’ll be moving there in about two months. Anyone know any NICE, COMPASSIONATE
and CONSERVATIVE Endos out there? Colorado Springs & Pueblo area!

Joe, if you’re out there, my last try at “monkeying” around with my PTU
dosage struck out. On the 10th day of taking 3 one day, 2 for 2 days, I
went horribly hyper. Insominia. In the bathroom WAY too much. Irritable.
I didn’t get the anxiety like I used to, but I was NOT a nice person. It took
about a week of taking 3 a day to get myself feeling normal again. It
has something to do with having a rapid buildup of free T3 according to my doctor.
I can actually “feel” when my body/mind slip back into normal, like putting on
    those favorite beat-up jeans.

Right now, if my doctors decide my dosage should be decreased they are
going to have to do something VERY creative to make me go lower (and
higher the National Guard to make me do it)!

About PTU, taking it with milk does seem to wash down the bitterness.
I’ve gotten to where instead of hating the PTU I think it’s the elixir
of sanity! (esp. after trying to take a lower dosage). I’d rather suffer
the bitter aftertaste than feel that weird, hyped-out-not-my-self-surreality
that happens when I go without it.

    Hello,

The conference sounds like lots of energy goes into it…Wow!

As for Colorado Springs, it is just east of the Rockies, not too
far to get into the mountains. But why did someone think it was joke about snow?
I remember the locals trying to tell me it could smow me in
anytime it pleased…I was in the mountains outside of Breckenridge,CO
and this (then)young California girl just had no way to understand. The snow
came in August and it came to stay. It will come in July if it feels like
it. It may not be done coming in June some years. It comes when it wants.
I believe them now. But Colorado is pretty.
May 20th to decide…okay…better crank up the decider. Sure would be great to meet you folks.
    Jeannette
