If you are having double vision, an eye patch sometimes makes it easier to Navigate. I used a pair of dark glasses with one lens painted over to drive with as seeing two roads didn’t work well.

I have had the radiation treatments on my eyes, you can read my story about it on Dianne’s page at http://netnow.micron.net/~deecee If you have any specific questions feel free to email me.

Just got back from another appt. Am on waiting list for CAT scan. Next procedure after that radiation treatments on the eye at the Cancer clinic. Ten treatments. Has anyone had? Also have to have another RAI as levels on the high side. I guess I will start gaining weight again. Also was suggested that I wear a patch for the double vision. Has anyone done that and did it help? I don’t really relish going into work looking like a pirate but if it works! I am going to try going back to work tomorrow on a shorter hour bases. Will go in later so can get some sleep and use ice mask for an hour or so in the morning. I have been waking up about five or six times a night. One eye does not close. When I know I have to be up at 6:30 it makes it even worse. Maybe this will help. I don’t like the amount of money I will be losing by working shorter hours – but hey – It’s better than nothing at all. Also, has anyone had RAI for a second time and noticed a difference?? Thanks for any information forthcoming. SAS
