    the pregnancy since being pregnant increases ones’ metabolic demands.
    Hypoactive women who are not treated risk a higher chance of miscarriage.
    Hyperactive women who are not treated run a risk of premature births
    and post-partum hemorrage, and of course all the other unpleasant
    symptoms of hyperthyroidism.
