I’ve just been told that I have the eye disease. Double-vision to the right, occassional blurry vision, periods of dry eyes, and other times excessive tears.
My doctor just called me back and told me that I need to quit smoking because the risk factor for going blind double with a smoker. But I can’t find any reports to support this.
I know smoking is not good, and I have finally decided that I do want to quit (after 10 years). But is this doctor just trying to scare me excessively.
Thanks,
Tracy
