    Hi again sue!

There was some discussion on here a while back about TT AND TED. Just generally speaking, we were wondering if the antibodies would attack your eyes since there is no thyroid to attack. (After TT).

I would think it would be worth asking your endo or surgeon their opinion on the matter.

I personally don’t know if there’s any truth to the matter but I would love to hear what the drs think.

    Hi sue.

It’s very odd. I was not the normal hyper patient. I never had anxiety while hyper and I gained weight as well. Had a hard time losing it.

I started having anxiety issues when I started taking Levo.

    I’m really not sure why.

I do think the B12 is helping me though. I was at the low end of normal…

    Labs done last Tuesday.

    TSH .14 ref .4-4.6
    FT4 1.9 ref .8-1.7

Still hyper. Reduced Tirosint to 75 mcg.

Apparently my body absorbs this Tirosint very well as I’m on a lower dose of Tirosint than what I started on Levo.

    Any opinion would be welcome.

    Hi Rebecca! Welcome.

I felt the same as you. I had RAI last September and went severely hypo in November. Started Levo and felt horrible. You’re right people with allergies have difficulty with the fillers in some of these drugs. I am on tirosint also.

I have felt much better since switching to tirosint. But I feel as though I’m not back to my normal self yet. I’m vit d deficient and just recently started taking some B12 which has helped some with the anxiety.

I hope you are feeling better soon. My family seems to think I should feel fine now. Take your pill, be on your way. Little do they know its just a tad more complicated.

    Wishing you the best.

    Hi!!

Glad you are feeling better today!!

I have been following the anti inflammatory diet and have found a lot of relief. No gluten no dairy. Basically chicken turkey fish veggies and fruits.

I bought a book and have found that following this diet helps my eyes so much!

    Good luck on your journey!!

    Sue,

My pcp gave me a tester the last time I went in to see him. He thought I might me hypoglycemic since I was getting very shakey around 2:00 everyday.

I began testing myself and it seems my blood sugar is off in the mornings. Not so much during the day. But I also get anxiety attacks. I think they are correlated. If I have an anxiety attack in the morning as I’m waking up, my blood sugar is higher.

I have yet to talk to my endo about this. I think I’m due to see her at the end of June and I will let you know what I find out.

Maybe you could talk to your pcp about getting a tester and you could actively see what going on when you get a panic attack.?

A friend of mine takes alternating doses of 112 & 100mcg of levoxyl.

Been taking it like that for years and she feels great.
