Hello, when I was dx’d I didn’t have insurance either. I received tx, including RAI through National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, MD. I did live in the area, so I didn’t have to travel. I don’t know if the study is still going on, but it seemed like it was a long-standing study. If interested, contact/go to the website for NIH and find out if there is a Graves Disease study that is open. If you are accepted into the study, as I was, all your treatment and follow up is free. At the time I was in the study they had some reimbursement for travel if needed (I didn’t). Good luck. ” title=”Very Happy” />
