I have a very close relationship with my pharmasist. They know of my diseases, and if I have any questions at all, I ask them. Also…the only problem I have with antihistamines, I take phenergan sometimes for my headaches…is I wake up with really dry eyes.

    Run,
I’ll just nickname you that since that is what you love to do. I’m so glad your feeling a little better. But remember…baby steps…..crawl before walk, walk before run…you get the picture. Hugs, Rhonda

P.S. where did you get a heart monitor like that one?

    Hyperm,
I am so glad you’ve decided to take the diasipam…excuse my spelling…I am on 2 of his cousins. One is a shorter acting and one a longer acting. I don’t like taking them either, but it makes my kids like more livable if I do….as I too have an 8 year old and a 2 year old.

Your so not alone in how your feeling. Been here, doing that. If I could reach across the pond and hug ya I would, but I’d probably pull a stupid muscle and be in more pain *LOL*. So hugs here are the best I can do. Who knows, maybe Ski will drop in on you while she is on vacation.

Hang in there hon. I know how hard it is, just keep telling yourself, swing park in no time!!! We all love ya, Gentle Hugs again Rhonda

Even tho they had records from before from medical family leave act…apparently those had expired and surprise….goodbye job!!!!!

Some of you know what a time I’ve had….here is a little something that I hope will make all of you smile when your feeling down. It is the lyrics to a song from a T.V. show when I was little here in the USA. Now it would be cool if we could all get on a conference call and sing it together!!!!!!!!

Gloom, despair, and agony on me
    Deep, dark depression, excessive misery
If it weren’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all
Gloom, despair, and agony on me

We figured she was rich, loaded to the hilt
And we figured she had class like the Vanderbilts
‘Cause we had heard for years how she was so well reared
How was we to know they meant the way she was built

Gloom, despair, and agony on me
    Deep, dark depression, excessive misery
If it weren’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all
Gloom, despair, and agony on me

    Hugs to all of us…Rhonda

    Hi and welcome!!!!

I can’t help you with your numbers, all I can say is if your body is telling you something is wrong, listen to it, and keep searching until you find a Dr that will listen to you. It’s your health, and your body and you know it best. Good Luck. Keep us informed. Rhonda

P.S. You might be able to get some answers from another board that is answered by medical personel. It is doctorslounge.com. Hope that helps!!

Yeah Hopefull…..be thankful your RAI worked!!!!! My doctor seems to think I’m one of the "lucky ones" that it only killed off part of my thyroid. Guess I’ll see in 6 months if it worked!!!

But I really am so happy for you!!! At least the antibodies can’t attack your thyroid any longer!!!!! WHOOO HOOOO

    Hi Carla,
For about a year before I was Dx with GD, I was in the ER for an IV of Decadron 8mg for headaches. I also had a brain bleed stroke tho before that. Then they " Neuro Dr" tried keeping me out of the ER with 12 tabs a month of 4 mg each. Besides right before Dx I had 1gm IV solu medrol. I’ve gained weight, but no liver damage. I honestly think the steroids is what has kept the TED at bay so far. Now that they.."my wonderful ex ENDO" has stopped my steroids, I’m finding another Endo and I’m going to go back to the Eye Dr to see if the pain and pressure I have behind my eyes could be TED. Best of luck to you and your daughter. Hugs Rhonda
