You don’t need a prescription to purchase Vit. B12, or B complex ( which is what I take…riboflaven rocks). Before I take vitamins or minerals I always consult my pharmee to make sure it wont interfer with my meds. Alot of minerals or herbals can do a lot of harm if you are on meds and in my experience doctors don’t hild alot of interest in that subject. In Canada, it is "Take the Meds…leave the rest of that nonsence alone!" Personally, Sarabear, the B’s have worked wonders for me. I am fortunate to have a very understanding husband, however, I do have a tendency to take things to far. For my marriages’ sake, the full complex have be a life saver. ” title=”Very Happy” />
Hope the rest of your appointment went well.. as for me I am still waiting… And testing the patience of a Graves patient is, in my mind…mean…
ttysHi Sarabear,
I am new to this as well. I have been doing Vitamin B’s off and on for the past few years( the full complex) and have found them very calming. I have re-discovered them since diagnosed and have been using them daily. My husband calles them b%#*h pills.(Har-de-har-har). But he is right. Stress hurts…alot. Thats something everyone on this board understands all to well. I questioned my pharmie on them before I took them. The only thing he warned be about was mixing them with coffee…and the fact that I could have "glow-in-the-dark pee" ” title=”Wink” />in reply to: What am I in for? #1074334Thank you so much for your positive words. The need to know "what could be" is an all consuming thought for me. The lack of positive stories out there was very disconcerning for me. Where else, besides here, can I get more positive information? Or answers to my questions…One that has been really getting me is time…If I go for the RAI, how much time will I have to take off of work (on average)…
