surgery seems to have went well… my eyes arent crossing so much… my vision is def alot better… i do still have some double vision when it comes to driving….. go back in 3 weeks and hopefully everything will be lined back up… he said it will take time and the brain has to be retrained to get my eyes back to working properly…… im so hoping this is the last one….. im so tired

thank you for your prayers, they are greatly appreciated. yes that is the surgery i am having… i sure hope it will give me my site back. thank you for your encouragement… people don know its a task everyday for me…. but i keep on trying….
i was taking high doses of steroids while i did my radiation… it made me crazy… mean. i felt angry all the time… not to mention the terrible weight gain and bloating.. im off them now.. but i dont feel any better then when i did have a thyroid. im hoping this will be my last surgery for awhile and give me a break…. this GD snowballed so fast on me…. like getting hit by a mack truck. i also been hospitalize for pancreatis i dont know if one has to do with another….thanks for the encouragement

thank you… im so sorry i am new to this form and didnt know how to work this all to well…. i only just figured some things out today how to work this… my eyes are doing better from the od surgery and then they put prisms in my glasses to align them… but its not working and im severely cross eyed… iam going for another surgery on monday the 19th of august so hopefully this will help……. i just want to get off this roller coaster.

i had 15 radiation treatments and i got a lot of relief from it… but my case was so severe a month or so later i had to have orbital decompression… my eyes look great they are not bulging as bad anymore… but do have to go for another surgery to correct the double vision
