in reply to: Hard to get pregnant long after RAI #1063221
I mean that I was told I would need to be slightly hyper in order to conceive. He said that once I became pregnant however he would need to fix my dosage to accomodate the baby.
in reply to: Hard to get pregnant long after RAI #1063219Well the reason why I am curious about this is because my specialist told me that in order for me to get pregnant they will need to make me slightly hyperthyroid. I am in fear that for the entire time that I am trying to get pregnant I will be a mess from rising and lowering thyroid levels. I know that it shouldn’t effect your ability to get pregnant but in some odd way it seems to me that it does. I want to hear from some people that have successfully gotten pregnant after an RAI and how long it has taken for it to happen.
Thank you
Amandain reply to: Leg cramps?? #1067506RIght after I had my RAI done I had excruciating cramping through my entire body. If I turned the wrong was stretched the wrong way even yawned funny. It was so bad that I cried and cried and cried. A little helpful advice, if you start cramping in your legs, walk…. The second you stop moving it tightens up more and gets worse. I found that if I pushed through it and didn’t let it completely tighten that it would go away faster. Once my levels were fixed the cramps stopped and my muscles strengthed up again. I feel your pain though and I hope that you will get through this quickly! Drink lots of water and if all else fails go see your specialist!
