I was diagnosed with Graves’ in July 2005. I had radioactive iodine treatment in 2005 and 2007, when my thyroid “regenerated”. I’ve had a year here and there where I did not have to have my meds changed and did o.k.
I had my TSH checked in Dec and it was 17.14. This month it was down to 2.16, even though I take my Synthroid every day and at the same time of day.
My T4 was normal, as was my thyroglobulin antibodies. However, my TPO was 395, when it should be <35. I have an appointment with my endo next month, but I hate waiting and not knowing what the heck is going on.
Of course, I did my own research and Hashimoto’s keeps popping up, but I’m really not familiar with it. Any ideas? Thanks.
