A cousin of mine had allergies to the synthroid and found out that it was a dye they use in it so she found a pharmacy that was able to get a medication without the dye. Problem solved!
I was told by one endo that the prednisone is needed prior to RAI treatment if your eyes have been affected by the Grave’s. He told me it is to bring down swelling because the RAI treatment could make it worse otherwise.
