When I went to my doctor a week ago, he suggested that I get the H1N1 vaccine, but not because my diagnosis of Graves’ disease months ago. He said I was more succeptible because I’m a 16 year-old in high school than I’m a patient taking Tapazole. I think if the school in your area has had reports of many cases, then go for it, but not just because of Graves.
The regular flu shot [aha, ‘regular’ flu] always helps, but I don’t think you need to rush out for the H1N1. My high school has it floating around, so I might’ve already been hit by it, and the worst I went through was a 103 fever and a super fast heartbeat despite sitting in the waiting room for an hour.
