Bobbi i have both Antibodies :0/ BUT i am currently at normal range thank god. I ask my doctor today. I am thinking maybe after a i have children i think about RAI. For now i am doing ok… :0/

i got it, it says

Impression: Heterogeneous uptake, Euthyroid uptake no focal dominant lateralizing mass effect.

The 24 hr uptake of the radioactive thyroidal iodine was with in normal limits at 17% (normal 10%-37%)

Findings: The thyroid is borderline enlarged and within normal limits in position above the sternal notch. Mild heterigencity and distrubution of activity was presented throughtout both lobes however no focal intrinsic laterlizing mass effect was apparent. The reported dominant right mid pole thyroid nodule
did not create lateralizing effect on the nuclear scan.

CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN THAT TO ME IN ENGLISH…

i did a tsi on my own at work it was 110% i am now going to run to my car and ck those other results i got faxed to me i was soooo nervous i didnt even read correctly.. thanks for deleting those post….

My dad health story does sound weird. I never really asked alot of questions because of my own hypocondriac dont want to start putting more things on my plate. I did some labs yesterday let me share them with you..

As u can see my body was slowly creeping out of remission. thank god this dr caught it in time. I cant wait to see my original Endo cuz he can really explain what happen there.. I think i should have a TSI cked. Is TSI the anitbody test for graves>?

Thanks Snelen, I didnt know a nuero otho existed. I am excited to see one now cuz i am really looking for answers. I will definitely try that tonic water anything to help with my muscle cramps i would also try.

I lost my dad Nov 14th 2011 to untreated thyroids lord knows how bad i want to get this under control. He was a typical man old school man, didnt want to know anything about the doctors he was fairly a healthy person. Until he fell into a deep depression and eventually dementia. He lasted 8yrs in nursing home something i would regret for a long time but we all have mad bad choices in life :0( being untreated for so long eventually gave him Alzheimer’s. I am unclear wether he had hyper or hypo bcuz when he got sick i kind of disappeared because his dementia was already really bad and i couldnt handle it (shelfish i know) but my fear is to end up like that 8 years in a bed over something that could have been avoided. I get my thyroids from his him. All my aunts and uncles on his side of the family all over the disease. thyroids is a horrible diseace wether hypo or hyper esp of not treated i say it first hand. Sorry i went off the topic of my original post i kind of got caught up.

I will not stop my meds this time around. I am older and wiser and also eventually want to have a little mini me so my body has to be healthy and strong for that as well. Ill look into that tonic water to see if it also works wonders on me :0)

Thanks Healingcc, I am really trying to get my body together before i try to concieve again. Its a emotional rollercoster sometimes. I know what u mean when u said u yelled at your husband over a game. I sort of did the same thing the other day then last night i spoke to him and apologized.. I am sooo desparate to get better its scary but hey i cant rush things. :0/ and yea your right doctors should be clear when they talk to their patients. I feel when they know u have thyroids they want to blame everything on it. You go in with a headache and they know u have thyroid problems they right away say its from your thyroids. I just want to get better so i can just stick to my one doctor. :0/

I have been desperately waiting for someone to reply to my post. Thank you soooo much u really brought tears to my eyes.. Someone that understands me. It feels like my life is changing and everyone around me isnt. I am so happy i found this site. Although reading some stories kind of freak me out but i know not everyone with graves experiences the same things. My sisters half sister from her dads side has graves she was diagnosed at 9 and is now 26 and has been off meds since 2010. I dont really talk to her cuz like i said she is my sisters sis from her dad side and she lives in V.A I am in NYC… I did my research a little on graves but when they mentioned muscle weakness i didnt know u lose muscle mass tone. Funny cuz my thighs hurt too i figured it was related such a bad experience. I normally take a nice warm bath with a side of chamomile tea and it relaxes me. I sometimes have a hard time falling asleep cuz i am constantly thinking and the pain is so something ive never experienced that i get worried and cant sleep. I find myself spreading tiger bam lol.. I am so happy to know there is relief to this madness. I am suppose to see my endo on the 13th to have my blood draw.. I cant wait now to see what he says.. U just made my night.. :0)

I am taking PTU 50mg once a day and Atenolol 25mg once a day..
