Ski,
Thankyou SOOOO MUCH. You just made me cry in HAPPINESS. LOL. You explained that so well to me and I appreciate it. I know you are a very busy person and can’t thank you enough for all you post for me and Im sure I can say this for others as well. You are an amazing person with such great knowledge and understanding. I am so happy to be a part of this board.

I can’t wait to get back to work to make a small donation in respects to the help I get here. I hope the bracelet donation is still available next month My mom says if I can’t afford it by the time August rolls around she will make the donation for me and I can pay her back when ever I can. She is realizing how much this board means to me as well as the people on it.

Again Thanks
Krystal

ewmb,

Yeah, I think I’m going to have to find time. I really need some positive reading. (If thats possible) Something along the lines of HYPOTHYROID= Millionaire by 12’noon tomorrow. LOL. I mean its hard to get out without having an anxiety attack. I was fine until I realized how HYPO I was. My dr. didn’t inform me on that level. They called said "your hypo, we are calling in your meds" Take generic if you cant afford synthroid. I said what was my TSH and what are normal they told me and all I thought was wow that is HYPO but i didnt know I should have only been like 5. somthing for a safe hypo. I don’t know it just pisses me off that my dr said bloodwork at end of july when it was end of June. Why couldn’t he said two weeks or next week. I could have been caught at an earlier hypo stage now I don’t know what to expect its like hyper all over again just opposite sides of the disease. I don’t know how the Graves anti bodies play into me being hypo or anything and I dont have an appt to see my endo for another two weeks nor do I have blood work scheduled for 6 so I guess I just pray I wake up every morning feeling a little more ME. I guess thats all I can ask for these days cause yes others are struggling more than me but at the same time I am too and so are all of you.

Oh wow. You were really weak. Thats weird because my TSH was higher than yours and i dont feel that bad. I do however have the wall banging wall hugging feeling in the morning. It wears off throughout the morning. Probably from the synthroid huh? Its only day three for me so im not sure when im supposed to feel safe or what. Im use to being hyperthyroid. I dont know this whole thing is scary to be honest. I just hope im not going to die. Im freaking out now:( should i go to the ER?

Just dropping by to say I understand exactly where you are at right now. It’s not very easy. I have no job, no insurance, just went hypo and had to borrow the money for my synthroid. I hope my levels are balanced by Aug 25 so I can have my student loan check to get me out of my rut. I will resort back to buying an individual plan from a major medical company. Its usually high deductible but it gets me my meds and office visits and thats all I care about right now. I know the ER can’t turn anyone away so thats always an option if you HAVE to. Tell them your story and you need a script for synthroid and go buy it for 4 bucks like nancy said. I know my friend takes the levoxyl and she does great on it as she did if it was synthroid. Good luck and we are all here for you Sorry you are roughing it out right now. How is the synthroid working for you on a more positive note?

From your test results that have a reflection of mine and your sudden weight loss. It does sound like it could be hyperthyroidism. However, I’m not a Dr or medical educator/facilitator so others with better knowledge and allowance will explain this post in more detail I just wanted to drop by and SAY MAKE SURE YOU GET A VERY VERY GOOD ENDO/ FAMILY DR. You are in for a long journey if you don’t. I wish you the best of luck stay proactive and if you have symptoms such as. Extreme fatigue/weakness, excessive sweating, rapid heart rate like 166-200+ I would make a trip to the ER encase of thyroid storm or something else.

Good Luck. Stay Strong & Proactive

AHHH,
Day 2 of Synthorid! No complaints yet, (Knock on Wood). I have been reading some horrific stories on the Internet so i simply just X’d off and said Ill have my story and I don’t need negative influences on my already anxious mind. However, I have noticed the past two times I have slept I have had crazy vivid dreams, has anyone had this on synthroid or is it just a coincidence?

The wedding was beautiful and the reception was fun and I was SOBER SALLY. Ugh, I just want to do everything I can do make sure the synthroid absorbs right before I put anything un Needed into my body. I had a drink but sat it down in hopes the staff would take it and they did I drank water all night! I was lame I know but just being cautious. I was dancing to the electric slide and the other line dances like bootie call, cha cha cha. HA HA. Man, my calves and legs were so weak out there my legs felt like rubber. It was crazy. I stuck it out though and I’m paying for it today. I literally went to bed at 4am woke up at 12 fell back asleep around 230 and just woke back up at 10 15pm. Took a bath, ate and got on here to check email, facebook and myspace. LOL.

Well just thought id drop a line and chat for a bit. Im waiting on the Boy Toy to get home from work around 11 15pm.

Goodnight

I am still anxious but Im assuming it will subside sooner than later. Take care and good luck and congrats on feeling better everyday I hope the scale lightens up for me to hahaha. i wanna go back down to 120ish This 145 is GOT TO GO. ttyl

lol..anytime. well as far as classes go i am able to schedule 3 of the 4 online. im really excited about that. the only classe i cant do via web is my ethics class which is weird when i was able to schedule my effective oral comm class online but whatever. I just know missing another semester is not something i want to do or can afford. So since i am doing three at home and one on campus i feel greatful and confident. I bet you are stressed thats a huge step for both of you but its a new chapter so try to stay positive and proud cause thats what should be celebrated. Its a great accomplishment for the both of you..
