Also, you should take your synthroid on an empty stomach at the same time every day for optimal absorption.
I take it an hour before I wake up in the morning.

If you don’t then things can bind to your hormone and affect the amount of t4 and t3 in the blood stream. If you do want to take it closer to eating you should raise the amount of synthroid you take.

Also you should wait atleast four hours before taking calcium or multi vitamins after taking the synthroid because it effects absorptions. I’d also take it seperate from all your other medication as well.

You didn’t put your lab ranges so its hard to tell what your levels are really at.

But other than that I agree everyone is different and should pick what treatment is best for them. But honestly I would try medication before RAI..i had to get the RAI done because I was 10 when I was diagnosed and allergic to both medications they put me on. After getting RAI you will become hypo and will most likely be put on synthroid like I was. And it just sucks…i went from 100 to 150 pounds in a few years and the symptoms of being hypothryroid are horrible. I was able to get the weight back off but it takes a lot of work. And its difficult to find a doctor who listens to you and your symptoms and knows how to optimize your medication to fit you.

you should get your free t3 checked.
Total t3 just tells you the amount of t3 in your blood, not how much you are actually using.
But even by looking at your total t3 I can tell your t4 is really high compared to your t3.
In order for me to feel good I need my t3 to be higher and my t4 lower.

I was diagnosed with Graves Disease when i was 10 i was allergic to both medications they put me on so I had to get RAI done. A couple years after that my life started to go to hell due to all the symptoms of being hypothyroid. I am 18 years old now and have yet to feel 100% and yet to find a good doctor who will work with me.
