in reply to: Crazy tsh level #1072890
You might need more iodine in your diet.Watch over the TSH like a hawk.
in reply to: Crazy tsh level #1072889I got a 504 t4 reading.I am a little suspicious of that test result.
in reply to: PTU vs Tapazole? #1072935This happened by pure chance. There is nothing you could have done to prevent this no matter how healthy or unhealthy anybody ate or exersised. Now howver you just need good treatment.
in reply to: PTU vs Tapazole? #1072934Exercise lightly only
You might need to take a beta blocker.Talk to your DR.
in reply to: I don’t know what to do?? Please..need advice. #1073104Maybe Methimazole might help you.
in reply to: FTI or Free T4 #1073060Generally you want the tests done in a decent laboratory and have after your blood is drawn it analyzed for everything possible including what you mentioned. One test should tell so much.As for T3 if T4 is fine T3 will follow to normal level as well within a month or 2.
in reply to: Bad Thoughts #1073165You need a good mesauge.Don’t drink coffe or alcohol.Avoid chocolate and general sugar.Drink some chamomile tea maybe before bed.Try to be graceful as possible.Maybe do meditation as well.
in reply to: Hi My levels have changed #1073808I am quite encouraged now.You know I even began calculating and estimating my decreases.According to my calculations I went down by 11.6 points per day in my t4 since I started taking Methimazole. And at first it was just 1 pill 10 mg and I am tall 147 pound guy.Now the doc prescribes 2 pills so rate of decrease could accelerate.By March I should be around 230 with my t4 if the rate of decrease stays but who knows I might be even below 175 by March taking 2 pills. Its encouraging for sure
in reply to: Lab Order Questions #1073790Its best to test all levels
in reply to: Hi My levels have changed #1073805Right I do want the TSH to rise.Running average is intresting concept and as the T3/T4 goes down should I expect TSh to go up?Will I be normal again sleeping without pills ever? The last blood test was 1 week ago so these levels could be even lower.I want to reach 300 for t4 as soon as possible.By the way if I don’t sleep is that detrimental to my levels?I know my heart rate will rise and I am taking metropolol but I am concerned.
in reply to: t4 3.59, TSH 0.006 3 weeks on PTU #1073824Most people in Poland are healthy. However Minsk had plenty of victims from what i heard a few days ago.You know I passed Nuclear Power plant in South Carolina while on an Amtrak train and I may have driven by in a car as well.I wasn’t worried and I don’t think it caused my Hyper Graves now.
in reply to: t4 3.59, TSH 0.006 3 weeks on PTU #1073823I have about the same specific numbers as you.We should get together. We can comfort each other.
