I am trying real hard to find the peace in everything I do now, sometimes it is really hard. But I do not know about any of your pasts but my past,I am the go to person in the whole family,if you want to hear the absolute truth call Deb you might not like it but she will give it to you anyway,so see I have always been in the mists (?) so to speak. And now with graves I have to distance myself in some situations because it just feels better to me. Thanks again Deb.in reply to: confirmed graves #1068305Ski,
Thank you very much for the feedback my regular doctor made me an appt. for my second opinion but it was for November I called her this morning and told her I wanted to hear options she fit me in on Friday morning. I mean if I have to do something right away if I want to go on meds for a while till I decide should I not have that option? I just met a women last week and her brother had his thyroid taken out a year ago and he has to get rai next week. This is the kind of stuff I need to hear from a doctor and get under control myself so I can make a right decision for myself.
Debin reply to: Now My Eyes! #1068358Kaicee,
I hope everything turns out okay for you and your eyes. I am not where you are at as far as the graves(just diagnosed) but I already told two doctors i want it out !!! But i did not know that after the thyroid is gone you can still have eye problems. I mean do we not have enough going on with our bodies to think you fixed the problem to turn around and have another. Well good luck to you. Debin reply to: results of the lab #1068444Hi Thankyou for commenting,I read a couple of your posts you had the rai ,how are you doing are you back on the running trail? You said my numbers were close to yours and you do haves graves correct? Well it is true the decision does have to be mine i have been doing alot of reading and talking ,i guess there is alot more of that to come. I do know one thing having you guys to talk to is great and i am certain that we all are going to be just fine…
Debin reply to: results of the lab #1068441Ski, You asked me if I had bloodwork done the only bloodwork i had was the tests results i gave you.
thanks debin reply to: results of the lab #1068440Ski, Thank you very much for getting back to me. I joined this group as soon as i talked to this endo, and i went and bought two books on the thyroid. If you go on meds for graves is that when you have the chance of getting very ill from stress or sickness. I guess what I am asking is in your opinion the best treatment burn it out?
