I can really appreciate your situation for more than one reason I am also a coffee fiend however my hyper episode took care of that or the meds anyway I could drirk a whole pot by myself in the morning but cut down to 2 big cups after becoming hyper….. the first thing I did the day after my sugery was go to the coffee pot ha ha I know it isn’t good for you but we all have our things let your body tell ya wha to do I have been ill for years with out really knowing it was on meth… then PTU combined 3 monthes had hard time with the meds side effects…. after surgery feel sooo much better will always recomend unless a physical reason for not having I really hated the meds so it was a easy choice for me good luck

just info but they have tested at the drug store over the counter for bladder infections still recomend dr. visit or lab but just though it might be good info wouldn’t take the store results as a final judgement…still can be helpful good luck cb

I just had surgery and am interested in the few monthes after your surgery I also feel sooo much better right after am also very aware of not wanting to go hyper on synthroid am on 88 mcg.. after surgery and will not know my statis for 6 weeks it takes that long for any changes to be seen in labs….6 weeks can feel like a life time….I will deal with my symptoms not necessarily the labs dr.’s will listen if you are strong about it now days we are the customers and dr.s are much more open to our wishes…..good luck with pregnacy my daughter was hypo and had a hard time getting pregnany went thru all the meds and invitro ( spelling???) anyway she has a 3 year old little boy now and it was all worth it…

In my experance the blood test can be decieving if you are up and down if you don’t test when feeling really bad it may show high normal that is what happened to me for a long time when I felt really bad too sick to go to the dr.s when I got a little better test didn’t show hyper it was years before I got the answer just had surgery on monday and feel better the day after than when I went into the hospital think meth… made me feel bad not sure but thank god I am on the mend….. I have been participating on the board for 3 monthes and was very suprized how good I felt after the surgery I hurt yes but that is more manageable than the shakes and fatique I felt before.. I requested my throid after surgery to stomp on ha ha ( am rn and have weird sence of humer) my surgion told me he did it for me and spit on it toooo…. ha ha that is how much I hate this disease please don’t heatate doing something because it can get a lot worse I was in the bed for most of the time for 3 monthes and I am a type a personality so it killed me to be so depend… god spead and good luck

as a medical profesional ( RN) I think you should report him to the medical board!!!! dr.s do not fire pt.s I have never heard of such a thing…..if I was you I would pull out all guns so it doesn’t happen to the next person if he is associated with a hospital or a group report him there also things have really changed in the past 15 years you are his customer and believe it or not you have the power you will really kill him by reporting him to your insurance carrier they will not like the loss of income and tell him sooooo!!!!! medicine is a big business and they treat it as such good luck cb
