in reply to: Alternative options? #1061939
Firs off guys, this is a really productive thread and should be read by anybody who is considering undergoing treatment for Graves. I have a few things that I would like to say and they are going to mirror some of what has been said, but these are things I truly believe.
Research is important. There is a never a reason to go into a procedure or therapy without feeling confident in your body and the person on the other side. Sometimes these procedures can be scary, but your confidence goes up knowing it might be the only way to save your life. You can also check with your provider even if you have cheap health insurance[/url:ws9anxyr].
Really great thread guys.
in reply to: Has anyone else developed Autonomic Dysfunction? #1063249Ruby,
I am glad to hear you have that figured out now that you got your thyroid removed. I do have to admit though, that this thread has me a bit worried. Every time I have gone to the doctor’s office I have had relatively good reading in my blood pressure, but I have noticed myself getting light headed a lot often and also sometimes a little extra lazy in some situations. Is there any chance this could be my blood pressure? I don’t have a monitor, but I do have cheap health insurance[/url:3rpqx2ye] that might cover some kind of operation.
in reply to: Feel like I’m going nuts….advice please #1062395Hey Blue,
I am new to the board and just stumbled across this thread and i thought I would let you know that Zoloft is considered a pretty safe and effective drug. Although I never believe you should look at a medication as a stop gap per say, this is a good shirt term fix until you and your physician are able to figure out a more accurate diagnosis of anything else that could be going on. Even if you have some kind of cheap health insurance[/url:3k55qin9] you should be able to get it for a pretty low price.
in reply to: Newly diagnosed, have questions #1061271Everything does take a little time, but you will start feeling a little better step by step. Just stay in close touch with your doctor and they will give you a more accurate timeline, which should be doable if you have some kind of Affordable Health Insurance[/url:divuw1qw]. Welcome to the forums and best of luck with everything, you really have found the best online resource for Graves.
