I went to the GI specialist and that was an awesome visit. We spoke for a long time about my weight loss, night sweats , bloating and increased bowel movements. He ordered a gluten panel and I have been continuously eating everything and even 1 hour before the appt I had pretzels (wheat/gluten) and hummus. He also ordered a whole host of test with GI related. I need to find a endocrine that will accept self referral. My insurance allows self referral but some doctors are to busy to accept that. My general physician believes in treating with TSH only. I am showing symptoms of hyper but my TSH is at .8. I need a doctor to order a full thyroid panel with my insurance benefit in Dallas, TX
