Hello – The Foundation hosts one annual conference per year, and the location usually alternates among different cities. The 2010 and 2008 conferences were in San Diego and the 2009 conference was in Charlotte, NC. The location for 2012 hasn’t been announced yet, but the location usually alternates between the Eastern and Western U.S..
The Foundation does host other smaller events as well as local support groups around the country, with assistance from local volunteers. If your student’s family would like to e-mail us at info@ngdf.org with their location, we can notify them when there are events nearby. In the Western U.S., there are groups currently organized in San Diego, Salt Lake City, and Phoenix.
